Flood Emergency Update: Volunteers Needed, April 29th, 2023

Volunteers Needed: Saturday, April 29th, 2023

VOLUNTEER TO HELP FLOOD VICTIMS

Residents impacted by the massive flooding in Fort Lauderdale desperately need your help. Our county partners have teamed up with United Way to recruit and organize volunteers. 

Our next event is this Saturday, April 29.  Registration on-site is at Floyd Hall Stadium (2800 SW 8 Avenue), beginning 9:00 am, followed by a later shift beginning at noon.

If you would like to help but cannot make it this weekend please register online at:

By registering online you will have access to other volunteer opportunities, including leadership and support roles you can do from your home. 

Also donations (listed below) can be made Saturday, April 29th at Westwood Heights School & Floyd Hull Stadium 9:00am – 1pm including:

  • non-perishable food, water
  • baby food, diapers
  • cleaning supplies
  • personal hygiene items
  • clothes
  • pet food
